Opened in 1933, ‘Cafe St.Francis Xavier’ is an 80 plus year old quaint yet contemporary restaurant. The Cafe was the foundation of the business and was housed at the Old Mapusa Market till 1961, later it moved to the New Mapusa Market.
It is a favourite among the locals as well as foreigners who come to taste its authentic Goan mouth-watering food and snacks.
